3. Share your link or submit a lead?

1. Share your link when you post online, send a quick message, or the person would rather look around on their own.
2. Submit a lead when you've already talked to someone and they agreed to hear from us. Use the form on the partner page. Enter your partner code and sign-up email, their name, email, need, and the state they're in. We email them an introduction within one business day, and you get a confirmation email.
3. Always ask first. Only submit people who have agreed to share their contact details with us.
4. Either way, they get 15% off. A lead gets it when they check out with the same email address you submitted.

4. How to introduce Tera Systems

Who's a great fit: small and mid-size businesses, offices, property owners and busy households that need technology to just work. Listen for:

1. "Our Wi-Fi keeps dropping" or "Nobody really owns our IT."
2. Worries about security, backups or a past breach.
3. A move, a new office, a growing team, or a switch to the cloud.
4. Interest in smart buildings, sensors or IoT, or a custom app or data project.

What to say: Tera Systems is one accountable team for managed IT, networks and Wi-Fi, cloud, cybersecurity, IoT and software. Prices are published on the website, the first step is a free discovery call, and people you refer get 15% off.

Share the Partner Kit. Send the two-page overviews for the services your contact needs.

Do: be honest about what we do, and tell people you're a Tera Systems partner and may earn a referral fee. You can advertise on general terms like "IT support Norwalk". Don't: send spam or bulk cold email, promise prices or results we haven't confirmed, submit people without their permission, refer yourself or a company you own, or run paid ads on "Tera Systems" or "terasystems.io" (referrals from those ads earn no commission).

5. How you get paid

1. You earn 25% of what your referred client pays: once on a project, or on every payment for the first 12 months of a subscription. It's calculated on what they actually pay, after their 15% discount and excluding tax.
2. Track it in the portal. A commission appears once the client's payment clears. We also email you when a referral becomes a client and when a payout is sent.
3. Payouts are Net-30, once you've earned at least $25. Commissions earned in one month are paid on or after the 30th day of the next month, through Stripe, straight to the bank account you connected.
4. Taxes: Stripe collects your tax details before your first payout. Partners over the IRS threshold get Form 1099-NEC through Stripe.
5. Refunds: if a client's payment is refunded or disputed, the commission on that payment is cancelled.

6. Troubleshooting

I can't log in.

Use the email address you applied with at partners.terasystems.io, and reset your password from the sign-in screen if needed.

My application still says pending.

We review within one business day. Look for the approval email, including in spam. Your link and code appear once you're approved.

My referral didn't show up.

Your contact must open your link first, then buy on the same browser and device within 90 days. Private windows and ad blockers can block tracking. When in doubt, submit them as a lead instead. Referrals don't count for existing clients, people already talking to us, or someone another partner referred first.

The lead form says it can't match my code and email.

Enter your code exactly as it appears after via= in your link, and the email you signed up with. If it says your account isn't active yet, wait for approval.

My lead was marked not eligible.

They're already a client, already in touch with us, or another partner referred them first. Your confirmation email will say so.

My contact didn't see the 15% discount.

They need to come through your link on the same browser, or check out with the same email address you submitted as a lead.

I haven't been paid.

Check that your payout method is connected and Stripe's identity, bank and tax steps are complete. Payouts follow Net-30 and start at $25.
